Terms of Service

These terms govern the Vocabinet extension, hosted billing pages, and paid Pro subscription.

Service scope

Vocabinet provides a Chrome extension for on-demand selected-text translation, local vocabulary saving, and optional Pro features. The free plan supports local translation and up to 20 saved vocabulary entries. Vocabinet Pro adds unlimited saved vocabulary entries, CSV export, hosted activation, billing management, and activation on up to 3 devices.

Monthly subscription

Vocabinet Pro is sold as a recurring monthly subscription at USD $2.99 per month. Taxes, if any, renewal timing, seller details, and final checkout terms are shown in Stripe Checkout before payment. By completing checkout, you authorize the recurring charge shown at purchase until you cancel.

You can cancel future renewals through the billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not remove access already provided for the paid billing period, unless a refund applies under the Refund Policy or mandatory law.

Activation and use

After successful checkout, Vocabinet provides an activation code that can unlock Pro on supported devices. Keep activation codes private. Vocabinet may enforce a 3-device limit and periodic entitlement refresh to confirm that a paid subscription is still active.

Refunds

Refund eligibility, the 14-day refund window, cancellation handling, and billing-error handling are described in the Refund Policy.

Acceptable use

do not interfere with security, billing, or entitlement controls
do not use the product unlawfully or in violation of store rules
do not misrepresent purchases, refunds, or support claims

Availability and changes

Vocabinet may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or product evolution.

Disclaimer and liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Vocabinet is provided "as is" and "as available." Translation quality, hosted uptime, and third-party provider availability may vary. If liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount paid for Vocabinet Pro during the 12 months before the claim.
